Research Background

My first professional exposure to research was in a urological oncology lab studying molecular biomarkers of testicular germ cell tumors. After a year, I was granted the opportunity to join the Chen Lab and contribute to research related to genetic drivers of pediatric cancers. Currently, my role in lab is to provide administrative laboratory support and maintain the rodent breeding colonies.

When I’m not in the lab/hospital

I spend much of my time devouring content related to true crime and macabre human history in the form of podcasts and documentaries. Outside of that, I enjoy multiple creative outlets such as sketching and singing. Music is one of my favorite outlets and I am definitely known as the friend who puts playlist together for any and all occasions.
